Poster Sessions

Poster format
  • Posters should be in English
  • Posters MUST be in portrait format, with a maximum width of 90 cm.
  • Poster authors will be expected to remain with their poster for the length of the session.
Session format
All posters will be on display for the duration of the conference.

Posters will also be organised into three sessions.  During these sessions, the authors will be with their posters for informal discussion and questions between 16.30-18.00 on the following days:

16 November 
Focus 1 Part I: Biogeochemical interactions and feedbacks between ocean and atmosphere
17 November Focus 2: Exchange processes at the air-sea interface and the role of transport and transformation in the atmospheric and oceanic boundary layers
18 November Focus 1 Part II and Focus 3: Air-sea flux of CO2 and other long-lived radiatively-active gases

Poster Abstracts
All poster abstracts are now available in pdf format. Click here to download the latest version of the document (800Kb).
Note that all poster titles and first author will be listed in the conference handbook but the abstracts will not be included.

Additional Information
Additional posters fee: The registration fee includes the submission of one poster abstract.  Each additional poster abstract submitted will be charged 50 USD.
Student poster competition:
In order to support students and encourage excellence, SOLAS will award prizes to the top poster on each focus.  Participants who register as students will automatically be entered into the competition.
Presentation at discussion sessions:
If your poster was accepted, you MAY be contacted by the conveners of the Discussion Sessions in October and asked to give a short, 1 slide presentation during the discussion session.
